About me

René is a senior expert in various pharmaceutical processes with extensive experience in pharmaceutical production, engineering, and regulatory compliance. He currently serves as Project Manager Track & Trace at Bayer AG Berlin, where he focuses on coordinating and advocating for regulatory Track & Trace requirements worldwide. Throughout his career at Bayer, René has held several roles such as Senior Engineer and Project Manager in Engineering & Technology, leading international technical rollout projects across locations in Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East. He has developed a particular focus on single unit coding (SUC) and single unit serialization (SUS), aiming to support Bayer's innovative cell and gene therapy strategy. René holds certifications as an IPMA Level C Certified Project Manager and as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. He represents Bayer AG in the Industry Serialization Roundtable and is an experienced speaker, delivering presentations and leading workshops on Track & Trace at national and international conferences.
