Mohamed Fayez Monir

Mohamed Fayez is a seasoned industrial pharmacist with over 27 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chain management. He began his career as a lecturer in analytical chemistry at Misr International University, Egypt, before transitioning to R&D roles at EIPICO and ALKAN. In 2005, Fayez joined Bristol Meyers Squibb in quality assurance for sterile production. He later moved to AstraZeneca, playing a pivotal role in establishing the Egypt site, developing the quality management system, and managing product transfers. Promoted to Regional Quality Manager in 2008, he oversaw third-party manufacturers across the MENA region and Europe. Since 2013, Fayez has been with Boehringer Ingelheim IMETA, managing third-party manufacturers and overseeing various business-driven projects. A certified lead auditor and black belt six sigma, he now focuses on digital transformation in manufacturing and supply chain for Industry 4.0.
