Arun Ravindran is a seasoned pharmaceutical physician with over 10 years of experience in drug development and pharmacovigilance. Currently, he is involved as Benefit Risk Lead (Late Phase Clinical development) at UCB Pharmaceuticals focusing on safety signal detection and risk management for novel Immunologic therapies. Previously, he held significant roles at Novartis, where he worked on risk management and contributed to global regulatory submissions for Advanced medicinal products, including the first-ever approved Ocular gene therapy. Arun’s expertise spans across various stages of clinical trials including First-In-Human studies, safety management, and regulatory communications, working towards patient safety and effective drug development. He also has a strong background in training and mentoring of safety professionals.
