Jen has 25+ years of industry and consulting experience with the last 22 years focused on Life Sciences R&D, primarily in the drug safety space. She has worked with many of the top pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in the world, including Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer. Her experience includes leadership and subject matter expertise roles on various safety & regulatory business strategy programs, system analysis and implementations, data warehousing & analytics reporting solutions, data migrations, system integrations, business process analysis and operational improvement projects where her strength and success has revolved around understanding the business need and bridging the gap between business users and technologists.
Jen leads the Vault Safety Strategy for Europe and is responsible for ensuring the success of EU headquartered customers.

Sharmila Sabaratnam is a Senior Director at Veeva Systems responsible for EU SMB Vault Safety Strategy helping customers to transform their business through unified safety platform adoption. A physiologist by training with research experience within oncology and arthritis. She has 10+ years’ experience within safety, previously leading safety and regulatory advisory services for Top-25 and Top-100 companies within Ernst & Young and Navitas. Her experience includes operating model design and safety strategy, PV automation, benefit-risk management and performance benchmarking. As a senior leader within the NHS, led R&D clinical operations with a large oncology clinical trials portfolio, including the Biomedical Centre for Translational Research.
