James Duboff

Strategic Partnerships Director - Genomics England

Dr James Duboff is a Strategic Partnerships Director at Genomics England. He is responsible for global genomic research partnerships with large Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology companies (the Discovery Forum), enabling Companies to access and work with the genomic and clinical data, along with additional data types and resources across Genomics England and the UK genomics ecosystem. This includes all forms of industry engagement, from managing their applications for ethical approval, through to co-development of genomic-based R&D projects and orchestrating multi-stakeholder collaborations with leading academic and clinical teams, as well as legal and commercial agreements. Dr Duboff has experience in R&D management working in large multinational Pharmaceuticals (GSK) and consumer health (P&G) companies. He has an Undergraduate-Masters in Molecular & Cellular Biochemistry from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Genetics from the University of Cambridge.
