Lauren Bataille

Head, Digital Medical Capabilities - Novartis

Lauren Bataille is the Head of Novartis US Clinical Development and Medical Affairs Digital Capabilities Group. In this role, Lauren is spearheading the use of data and digital health solutions to transform R&D efficiencies, evidence generation, and customer engagement across priority brands. She is leading enterprise-level initiatives to drive the broad acceptance of patient-centered trial design with a focus on DCTs and digital measures. Lauren is an advisor to MedTech startups, actively collaborates in cross-industry consortiums and is a founding Advisory Board Member of the Digital Medicine Society (DiMe).

Previously, Lauren was at the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research where she launched the organization’s digital endpoint strategy, focused on driving multi-stakeholder partnerships, conducting clinical research, and managing an investment portfolio of emerging digital health technologies. Lauren graduated with an MS in Neuroscience & Behavior from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and holds a BA in Neuropsychology from the University of Massachusetts' Commonwealth Honors College.
