As a Business Development Director at Intelligencia AI, Marianna cultivates new relationships and drives business growth within the European pharmaceutical market. She helps organizations realize how AI can help de-risk clinical development and augment decision-making. Before her current role, Marianna dedicated five years to Sight Diagnostics, a healthcare startup headquartered in Israel, where she served as the Business Development Manager in East and Southern Africa. During her tenure at Sight, she was pivotal in launching their diagnostic solution, which enabled swift and precise malaria detection in remote areas. Her career journey also includes experience within the contract research organization sector, where she liaised between the U.S. R&D and UK clinical operations teams at Quest Diagnostics Clinical Trials in London. A scientist by training, Marianna holds a PhD in cellular and molecular biology from the Open University of London and a master's in biological sciences. She further honed her expertise during her post-doctoral research in cell therapy & immunology at King's College London & Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
